ATTITASH’S “U GO GIRL” RACE SERIES TO BENEFIT JEN’S FRIENDS

Attitash Mountain Resort will be bringing back its “U Go Girl” Race Series this 2011-2012 winter season with a few changes. One of the changes this season is the benefactor of the event. This year, Attitash will donate one-half of the proceeds from the race series to Jen’s Friends Cancer Foundation!

Attitash started the “U Go Girl” event two years ago to raise awareness and funds for the fight against breast cancer. This year, the event will continue to raise awareness about cancer and 100% of the funds donated by Attitash to Jen’s Friends will go directly to assist families in the Mount Washington
Valley that are battling all types of cancer.

The event will be open to both female and male competitors and it will consist of three races – two GS races and one dual GS race. The race dates are Saturday, January 14th, Sunday, February 19th, and Sunday February 26th. There is a $10 registration fee for each race, registration for the races begins at 8 am and the races begin at noon. Each race is followed by an announcement of the winners and raffle for prizes.
